Bushwacker Cut-out Flares? [Archive]

Anyone know what the largest tire you can fit on a stock (i.e. no lift) 1987+ 1500 PU with these flares installed? 33"? Larger?

I bought a Blazer new in 85. Didn't want to mess with the suspension at the time so I installed the cut outs. Ran 33 BFG (sorta large for the time). Didn't rub the fenders but did elsewhere.

Since the truck was new (Black) and the cut outs came white I had them painted to match. Three weeks later ripped the right front and right rear off with a tree. Bought new ones (dumb ass me) had them repainted. Month later same thing. This time I ripped them off and just went with the cut fenders. Had the holes filled and fenders repainted.

Realized that the truck looked like it had a dress on with the flares once they were removed.

Long story short I wasted a little over $500. Don't bother.
