97 Dodge Ram SLT 4x4 with 5.9, flowmaster exhaust system, 3"lift, street lock rims, eclipse stereo system, and code alarm sure start. I've just started doing some stuff to the engine. I added a throttle body spacer and edlebrock headers are in the mail....next I want to get a crane cams ignition kit and 4.10 gears.

I want to know why you got street locks? I have always wondered why someone would buy a set.. but otherwide cool truck... just I hope you have a warrenty on it... best thing you can get for a dodge... I have lost both my tranny, and transfer case within 500 miles of each other at 61k. and my truck stays on the road 98% of the time.. go figure.

I was going to just get the plain black rims but then I saw the street locks and I just thought they were pretty cool looking. I don't know anyone that has them and I'm pretty sure I'm one of the first people in my town to have them. They are pretty heavy duty also, If you want to take on curbs or large rocks they can handle it. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I dunno about you, but with 33" bfg muds, I am not too worried about hitting my rims on curbs. Plus, I run eagle 589's, and I personally really like them... and am sure happy I have 15x8's and not 15x10's... I dunno.. I just cant justify paying that much more for something fake, expecally since they are the exact same price as the real beadlock rims 4 wheel parts used to sell.

i have the regular black 'rockcrawlers', and in chris's defense the street lock rim has a much beefier edge on it! aired down thed take a beatin if a bead blew on da rox...
