My guess is it will starve it as Im sure i have more than 200HP in my mildly built sbc.40 over sbc ..stock heads and a 272comp cam 452 468 lift. Those who know propane whats your thoughts?

You would want to run a model E (http://www.propanecarbs.com/impco/modeleregulator.html) and a 425 (http://www.propanecarbs.com/impco/425carburetormixer.html). The VFF30 would work fine. I run this exact set up on my mildly built 454.

I run the same thing on my 12.5:1 427 and my 9:1 496. Both work great.
