Anybody swapped a 'caddy' engine into a Isuzu? Debating overhaul of stock V-6 with a little pep added or maybe going to V-8. Think I will try to call Jim's Performance about wiring harness. Bruce talked about the options, but I don't think he actually did it. Some one swapped an older pre-Northstar Caddy V8 into a red Trooper if I recall, I think it was also SAS'd

Dan Houlton swapped in a super charged Buick 3800 in front of an AW4 using factory parts. Not exactly the same but very similar

What transmission are you running now? If you have one that has the GM 60* bolt pattern, have a look at the Chevy LS4 out of the 05 and up Impala:

It has the 60* pattern, BUT, you'd have to figure out how to rig up a starter (there's no accomadation for one on the block) and find a flywheel to work. The throttle body also points towards the back.
