I was wondering if you guys have ever heard of the Safari Gard front brushgard. Has anyone put one on their truck before? Any thoughts? I was thinking about putting one on my truck. Thanks!

This sounds like a plug for Safari Guard. Might even be sent from someone that works there (Newbie one post..hummmmm). Anyone else get that feeling or is it just me being a grouchy of bastard?

SG bumpers are OK, but Fords have alot more options than SG's other market. SG started in Land rovers, and supplied one of the only real options for a front bumper here in the US, but thank God, most people are making there own bumpers for Land rovers now. granted the SG was not quite the snow plow ARB's bumpers are, they still stick out a bit, and tend to bend on the corners fairly easy, but after they hit your sheet metal, they pop right back out like new. Sorta like a saturn plastic door. And you will never know what hit your body work, untill one day some one see's it, and informs you of the problem.

But they look good thats the point right. Hehehehehe

Just get a Smitty bilt and smash the living shit out of it on whatever you want. Some say they aren't strong, but there are many abandoned cars and a few trees and rocks in Northern Cali that would have to disagree. Only cost me about $230 as well. Needs some fabbin for a winch mount though. Just my 02c

Shure does coming form a newbie who drives a 97 Discovery, not even a Ford and he is over here asking about getting one for his rig hmmmmmm.
