: browning bps 12 ga cable lock?

so i just brought home a browning bps and it comes with a cable lock and for the life of me i cant figure out how to lock it im i missing something?

Open the action. Thread it in the loading port, out the ejection port, and lock it. Now you can't fully chamber a shell, rendering the gun inoperative.

Wait, no. That's wrong...

Throw the cable away, buy a safe, and keep it loaded inside. :D

Get some clear covered cable from home depot, make two loops on the ends and feed it though the barrel, lock the ends together.

Read my last post, that will cost maby 20 bucks and then just put it in the corner of the closet, with the cable down the barrel it will be a heavy and awkward stick for the kidos to play with.
