A few weeks ago, while driving home in the rain with my headlights and winshield wipers going I tried to use my turnsignal. All of the sudden my headlights cut out and my hazards were locked on. I tried turning all of these accesories off but everytime i tried to turn them back on the same thing happened. At first I thought some wires in the dash had melted together somehow, but I checked all the wires and all looked fine. I then found out in my Haynes repair manual that the headlights, turnsignals, and windshield wipers are all connected to the turnsignal switch( multi function lever). I tried replacing the switch but it made no difference. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you fix it. Any knowledgable advice would be greatly appreciated.
