anyone got any recommendations for the best or a good radial 40inch tire. . has to be for a 17rim.
theyre going on a dodge 1ton cummins deisel. 8000lbs
the selection is as follows.

radial irok,---- im guesing still to soft
bfgmud terrain km2,---- hard as fawk to get here in canada (backorder backorder) and havent heard good reviews about them.
pro comp xterrain, ----already ran those and theres got to be better
new good year mud terrain,
nitto mud grappler,
toyo open country,---- head good things about them and they seem to last on heavy trucks but there way more expensive than everything else
yokohama geolander m/t
and theres a radial 41.5x13.5r17 pitbull rocker.

opinions?
the truck sees alot of on and offroad use. and dont tell me bias ply . . . that descisions already been made.

The rocker won't be for a while yet.
KM2's - better off getting outta the states
MTR-K and the Yoyo's are retardedly $$$
Graps seem to wear fast on some rigs and not too bad on others....still $$
Procomps = 30k km
Iroks = 25k km
Geo's = directional, piss poor for rotations.

If it were me, and you could hold off for the rockers, I would.

I had the radial iroks on my 03 superduty, I found them to be too soft and narrow, I run a lot of sand and took the deal from national tire and wheel for the mickey thompson radial claws in the 38" size, I couldn't be happier. They have the 40"s for $1400 with rims for all four on blowout. If you are running on a lot of ice they may not be for you, as thier is no siping. I hear you on the bias vs. radial thing..........:smokin:

I run 38" Nitto muds. They ride well, they're noisy, and don't
last worth a crap. and I love them. mud, snow, rocks, they're great.

not great for sidehills, ice, and have little lateral traction on rainy streets.

(btw, noisy is an understatement )
