I heard a rumor tonight that Evans Creek ORV area will be closed from Dec 15th through Mar 31st. Supposedly they are closing the area durning this time because of ORV's that leave oil and grease behind on the snow pack will melt off and effect the Salmon Habitat... To me this makes no difference to what goes on in any normal weekend even if there is snow or not. By the time the melt and run off reaches the river system its so deluted there isnt even a trace of petroleum product... If anyone has any more info on this let everyone know whats going on.
