My NP208 is toast.
It grinds and pops out of gear randomly and I have to shut down, drop it into 4wheel low and start the truck again then scoot around in 4wlow.
Does anybody know of a good rebuild shop in the sacto area.
I can rebuild it myself but the price of parts vs. the cost of rebuild is pretty close.

Thanks in advance.

sounds like a normal 208 to me. The like to slip out of 4hi when fluid is low and always seem to ba a pain getting into low. Read some of the posts on the other 208 thread here (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=82725) .

You wore the range fork out like al 208's do. A new fork is like $65 dollars, and its not hard at all to change out.
