I know the one under the driver&pass. floorbords are notorious but are there any others, or are they ALL bas on scouts.
I don't want to buy new one's they seem kind of expensive, so, What have YOU done to remedy the problems you've had.....anyone????

The ones in the floor pan seem to be the worst. Also, on my Scout I had cracks in the frame near the same mount. I also had to beef up the frame around the rear most mounts.

The rear crossmember is a joke, period. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
I, too, have rewelded cracks on the front cab-mount frame-side mounts on my rig.

Agreed on the rear frame mounts. See the weekend project post. I don't think the new mounts will give me anymore trouble. I have not noticed any problems with my other mounts, I would bet becuase it's a CA Scout, and it's only a matter of time.

I suppose the same type of *upgrade* could be done on all of the frame mounts huh?? maybe throw in a 1" lift while I'm at it. By that I mean to raise the NEW body mount by an inch or so.
