Have a transfercase out of a 2008 Jeep Rubicon (JK). The jeep was in a fire. I looked into the case and replaced parts that were damaged. This was the oil pickup and line(internal). The only thing that needs replaced is the shift light sensor on the outside of the case.

According to JP mag this will fit in 23 spline output trans from jeep. However the shifter and speed sensor hookups won't work.

so this would fit in a xj?

I'm interested. Tell me some more details about this fire the jeep had. Do you have any pic's of the case and maybe even the jeep after the fire? trying to understand what was burned and how much of the rig was left after. What parts did you replace?

I replaced the oil accumulator and line internally, as well as both of the seal rings that go behind the yoke.

The jeep had like 8K on it when burnt. The jeep was complete loss for the inside and body (no pics), but this and the axles were salvageable. The fluid that came out was burnt but I've seen worse.
