: dash shift t-case

parting out a 77 scout II, it has a tc-1something transfer case with an auto in it, never heard of it, is it a pile or worth selling?:confused: it shifts from a knob on the dash

Its a single speed t/c with NO low range in it.....POS to most of us.

Its a single speed alum chanin driven t-case with no low range, They aren't worth much. THe cable is about the only piece woth anything, Mr. Scout will buy the cable from you since thats what he uses for his crawler boxs.

If you want to see how much of a POS they are wack it with a hammer and odds are you'll break it.
I split one into little piece on accident, I was simply trying to seperate the t-case from the tranny and the old gasket had turned to glue and the result was aluminum everywhere... Toss it in the junk pile and don't feel bad.
