Man. That's a LOT of nice equipment. Good and clean work space. Great stuff! :smokin:

Thanks. Getting a bit off-topic here from the buildup but yeah its nice to have lots of space.
Its the shed on the right in this pic
http://www.4wdlinks.com.au/albums/andrew/lawn6.jpg

It's a 16m x9m (approx 50ft x30ft) shed that has one bay partitioned off for woodworking stuff. That leaves 12m x 9m (40ft x 30ft) which even with a Patrol in there leaves plenty of cat swinging space. :grinpimp:

Todays progress, limited by multiple visitors. Damn christmas season. :D Bah humbug. They werent even the useful type that could swing an angle grinder.

The view behind the bumper section. Far more substantial than the crap plastic bumper itself

Ummm...I think that shits zinc plated, can you say good bye braincells?:homer:

It also looks pretty thin wall'd, like it wouldnt hold up to being picked up by a highlift or just general abuse.

That's just my .02:grinpimp:

What he said.

If you start feeling like shit you need to drink a shiton of milk, and go to a Dr.
The design looks good besides being a little flimsy though. Consider that a template, and build a stronger one IMO.
edit...
I didn't see the dates before I posted, but still don't use galvanized it WILL fuck you up.

Thanks all for your concern. Im well aware of the problems with welding zinc but I do wear the correct 3M filter mask.

Cut up the 100x100x10 equal angle tonight.
Prepped it, put it together, tacked it then welded the inside with a couple of passes.
Will flip it over tomorrow and back grind and fully weld it from the outside.

Once its been all fitted up and trialled I'll be drilling a heap of 35mm along the neutral axii to get some of the weight out of it.

Just enough penetration but OK as I'll be backgrinding it. A bit more root gap would have helped.
