My friend recently inherited a Stevens-Browning model 620. It's stamped model y on the bottom, just behind the shell magazine.

It needs some TLC, the furniture is in ok shape and can be salvaged nicely, the finish is brown, and it has some light surface rust.
I would like some instruction as to taking it down, and stripping the furniture off of it so we can fix the surface rust and restore the wood.

bump for the day crew.
Couldn't find a manual anywhere for this thing, not even steves pages.

so I found a post on another board detailing takedown.
We got it cleaned up, and test fired it. It's real smooth, shoots a touch high, which I suppose is great for a bird gun. I was impressed, John Browning is one gun designing genius.
