: Coilover Placement question

My rig now: Extended radius arms, Wild Horses 5.5's, coil pivots, shackle flip w/ leafs in rear.

I just bought some swayaway 14" shocks that I can easily make into coilovers.

Should I keep the front suspension as is and swayaway the back, or should I move the coils and radius arms to the back and swayaway the front, probably used with some Ford Radius arms (extended of course) and trac bar.

Just trying to get some opinions before the winter reconstruction begins.

Thanks

Why don't you buy another set of shocks and replace the front coil and shock W/SAW's and put a 4 link in the back w/SAW's?

I think your front works fairly well already and you have it done so i say leave it.
As for the back use the saw's and build a simple triangulated 4 link. The rear will be much easier to build since there is more room and less restaints due to clearance issues Just gas tank i think?

Are you flat bedding it or is that done already?

Yeah I'm thinkin flat bed will come soon kinda like how Eric (eg68) and ryno 66 did theirs. I can't wait to try out these new springs this weekend in Hollister. Since there's no dirt for miles on end in this hell hole I have to find bumpy intersections and haul ass through them to see how she takes the bumpse and (this is so :rainbow: ) the only place I've flexed her out is at the 4 wheel parts wherehouse parking lot on their ramp. I'm such a mall cruiser!

Someone's gotta have another opinion on this.
