OK,
I admit I am still running the AMC 20...trussed with one peice axles. However I have done run out of money and I still have no locker. Bigjeepinyj...who live next door so shipping is no problem has offered to sell me his old model 20 carrier and ez locker for a price I can afford..his is the waggy 20. Is thre any difference in the Cj carrier and the waggy carrier? Would putting the entire waggy assembly in my cj axle make it any stronger..if not I will just leave my carrier in and install the locker untill I can afford the full blown detroit.
Remind you this axle is in and old willys and I have already welded custom mounts a ladder bar and a nice truss to it so I really dont want to switch to a dana 44 or 60 for that matter. The rear end of the jeep is real light..I once smoked 38.5 gumbo mudders on concrete with the originial 2 peice shafts..it held up...hell I dont need to make excuses if it breaks I will fix it.
Thanks for the help
