Yo Mammy Boy and I ran across a couple of 1971 Honda Trail 70's, which instantly brought back memories of the eraly 80's and riding. Anyway, one was a auto 3 speed, red, 4100 miles, the other was a 4-speed, clutch, 3100 miles, also red. The guy wants $800 each or $1500 for 'em both.

Are they worth it? I think so.

Thats about the going price for those in decent to even slightly thrashed condition. Look on ebay and you'll see what I mean.

Yup, that's about the going rate. Hell yeah they're worth it. I have a 1970 and love it. They suck in the dirt, but fun to ride around the neighborhood or to the store. Great pit bike too, or to take camping. All around fun. :D

There great for nostalgia...especially with the black Ca plate. But for a little more $$ you could get a XR100 and be a flat-track hero

but then again the trail 70 is already st legal

It's not about a good bike to ride, it is the old school bike thing.

We had numerous Honda Trails, Elsinor (sp?) CR, DT, IT, Hodakas, Benelli, RM's, KDX, XR, XL ..etc.. I feel bad that none of 'em are around anymore, but it's tough to keep a bike when ya don't have any $$$.

I am never gonna sell a bike again.

Yup. Agreed Lame. Our family had some beauties. My dad rode a Bultaco Frontiera 360 for years. That thing was a frigg'n tractor. We had a few Hodakas a Montessa and I at one time was riding the ever popular Maico. That thing was bad ass in it's day. Not to mention a google of the old toaster tank Huskies. God I wish I had em all. :(

Exactly. I have a '97 KDX 220 that I bought new, and it isn't woth it to sell, so I'm just gonna keep it when I nab a new scooter:D
