: Butte County
sotik 12-26-2009, 05:23 PM I have a lifted 4x4 Jeep I have been itching to get out and play with but I was hoping to find some people of a like mind that I can go out with. Anyone in here from butte county that wouldn't mind letting another person tag along with them?
forbergler 12-26-2009, 06:22 PM I've checked, there is absolutely NO ONE at all in Butte Co. that wheels. How weird.
How high is your Jeep lifted?
sotik 12-26-2009, 06:30 PM Right now all I have done to it is put a 4 inch lift on it with some 33 tires. I hope once I get some more cash or a better job which would lead to more cash , to get a 8 inch lift onto it with some 35's. Next on my list however is work on my running gear and get some beefer axels and some differential lockers. Not sure the brands or models to go with yet.
Halfass'dfabricator 12-26-2009, 06:32 PM Where in Butte County are you???
sotik 12-26-2009, 06:48 PM I live in Oroville, but would have no problem traveling to other towns, just as long as they are still in Butte.
Oh and here are some pics of my beast. It is not the best looking, but has come far from when I got it

Any of you know of any butte county clubs or groups that do some off roading? If not maybe we should start one be it on the internet like myspace/facebook or off the net so that way we can coordinate trips to meet up and go do some off roading as a group.
surplusjeep 12-28-2009, 09:22 AM All of the rigs pictured will fit into a class in our April 2010 Spring Mud & Crawl competition. It's April 24 & 25, 2010. We have classes for everyone. It's great fun. Keep checking our web site at www.cj-jeep.com for more information as we get closer.

I had planned on entering my Jeep in one of the mud runs or rock crawls in the lower class tiers. Got a lot of work to do before I get it ready though but it should be done by the time you guys start the event.
Say is the Feather River Rock Crawler Association sponsoring the event this year? I would love to get into contact with them but I think they have fallen apart.

I would have to agree
blazing rockwells 12-29-2009, 12:05 PM i would go wheeling, but on thanksgiving i jumped the blazer and my tranny broke into 2 pieces, cause i decided to make a square tube front driveline and well it bound up when i landed, so it might be awhile before i can go anywhere
SUPLUSJEEP- do you sell any rockwell fronts or just collect them?
blazing rockwells 12-29-2009, 12:37 PM crack!!!
