I just bought an 88 Jeep Comanche and everything is great except the rear axle is destroyed. Its a Dana 35, of course, so I was just wondering if there was an axle that would just bolt in just so i could drive it around.
88 MJ 2wd with 4.0L and 5spd.
Thanks for any help.

Ford 8.8 or Cherokee D44 if you want the same bolt pattern.

lets see.....just off the top of my head 14 blot, dana 60, sterling 10.25, 9inch, pretty much anything will "fit" just depends how much work you want to do
whats broke? ring and pinion? c-clips? go to the junk yard and pull a complete dana 35 and slap it in there. or just pull the parts you need

The only axle that is a direct bolt in would be another MJ axle. Unless you want to weld perches you are stuck
