-tounge in cheek... my point was that i don't think many people
do that because i haven't seen it before... i don't understand the

Well, actually, if you have been around Cruisers as long as I have(joke) you will have seen many Cruisers with the one piece front ends. In fact, one of the first people I ever went wheeling with had one on his Cruiser. Another chap has a stock front end that was converted to a tilt front. Why? It makes working on the motor a breeze. Neat idea, IMNSHO.

my first cruiser had was converted to steel frontend because getting to everything was so much easier. i loved it

I usually carry so much crap when I go out I would try to put more wieght on the front not less. Before I went SOA, it seemed every other rock made it stand up and beg.;)
