last night i replaced a broked one with a junkyard unit and it is just long enough to give a little play in the pedal and it drives me nuts. i haven't checked to see if it'll even go to WOT yet but will do so today.

it looks like the only way might be to cut the cable and clamp a new stop on the gas pedal side.. everything i can find through google talks about the kickdown cable, not the throttle cable.
