I think that's the Sammy with the Coil front from SOR, the same one that couldn't wheel cause the Coils kept popping out...

nice flat bed though.:)

What are the potential Drawbacks of taking that much weight off the back springs.. I mean.. I know that zukis ride rough to begin with but how much weight do you think that it sheds when you take off the whole back half of the rig? doesnt it hurt yer articulation?

A rear tube creation with some sheetmetal skin will most likely be lighter than the original tub. How this will effect the rig I can't say.

A "Real" Flatbed will be heavier than the stock rear tub.

Mines heavier. You have to go minimialist, and narrow the back to make it lighter. I was after storage so like you said, it got heavier.
