i was told on this board a while ago that a fellow by the handle of Brandog would be able to help me out on a motor swap into a 85 jeep cherokee. it currently has a 2.5l four cyl, with a 4spd manual tranny.
i cannot find another 2.5l to swap in, so for lack of options i am goign to try a 4.3l chevy v6. and hopefully a 5spd tranny out of a chevy that will bolt to my transfer case, which i think is a np231(please correct me if i am wrong).
this vehicle is my dads and he want to keep it as a daily driver, and for ease of swapping i was hoping to find a 4.3 with a carb or at least a intake and carb for it.
