looks pretty cool. I like the wrap around the corners. If trees are tight in your area I would make sure that none of the wrap sticks out very far past the body.

I am wanting to build a simmilar bumper, with the same tail lights, I'm working on a way to recess the lights to protect them. looks good.

they are almost flush with the corner...bout 1/4 inch of protrusion sp..... My bronco tail lights would get pushed in and then id just pop them back into place....mabye a 1/2 solid stock piece bent up to go long ways would help but a good smack would still kill it....

Looks good. Although I would try and recess the receiver hitch a little further in. I know this would be hard considering that you have the stock bumper/crossmember right behind it, but it just looks like it is waiting to be bent on something.

Real nice! I am honing my welding skills and hope to build a similar bumper shortly. Where did you get the reciever insert? How did you mount the rear tire carrier?
When I do mine I plan to remove the stock rear crossmember and build the new bumper to take its place so that it can be recessed in between the frame rails- less overhang.

The corners are 1/4 inch 2*2....lotta work.. rather done tube but customer wanted square....
The tire rack is wrangler bushed in 3 places ...no rattles... the tube is all 1/3/4 120 wall

Hey Mike!
Its Andrei, Gregs brother....mustard cruiser. Just wanted to let you know you did an awesome job with it. :)
As far as the bumper...its pretty sweet. Have you seen Paul Deckers setup though? It may not be the best for wheeling since its big as hell, but it looks damn good. I'm hoping to get it within the next few years :)

Mike, do you have a bender that will bend 1/4" wall tubing?

I wish I had a bender that could bend 1/4 wall...
It was all pied out then welded back up ....a HUGE PAIN!! But the customer wanted square..so he got it..
