I have a artcar C4 with the AA shorty adapter and driver drop atlas 2 speed. We are having a problem with the cable that goes from the c4 to the shifter. It needs to exit on the driverside right through the case. Is there any other brackets available to fix this by moving its location? Since it was all bought from artcar it shure would have been nice to know it needs to be modified.

the adaptor on most c4 shifters is a bolt on trans bracket, usually they will have you cut off the stock one (all hurst and b&m are this way) simply rotate the bracket to any convienent location and build a new bracket to hold the cable wherever it will fit, probably invert it so it feeds from the top front (180 it)....

the b&m brackets bolt to the pan rail down low and might go under the t-case with the slightest bend, that bracket is funky...

I have the same set up other than running a 203 in between the two. Before I installed the 203 I was in the same boat. You will need to come in from the front. Also FYI, no matter what I did I couldn't get the Art Carr gate shifter to coinside with the detents in the valve body. I even redrilled the shifter arm in a few spots to change the throw ratio. I ended up cutting the tabs off of the shifter and welding them in the correct spots. Good luck.
