On a 77 Scout II, Auto Transmission, how does one go about calibrating the Odometer? Is there a gear on one end of the cable or is it done differently on the Scout?
Thanks Much,

On a scout the speedo hooks to the transfer case. There are these little gear boxes that screw on for different tires/diffs. There made by dana. Stop by a speedo shop and they will have them.

I stopped by a speedo shop to tried to get the right little gear box. He acted like they were made of gold. I've tried a few different ones got the speedo reading +10 right now. No more boxes to try. There's a little gear set in there. Be nice to find out what gear sets ya need for 3.73 and 33's. Then just buy the gears. The speedo guy I went to acted like it was some sort of magic.
