and as usual...my pass side rocker and cab corner are wasted...i have seen a few of the 2x4 box sliders/rockers on older (pre 88) trucks and K5s and such, but was wondering if anyone had pics of there 88-98 with this mod, also, tips and advise would be great too, such as, do i need to trim the doors, and before you ask...yes ill replace the Cab Corner too:laughing: and there will be a build thread once this is started:D

funny you say that, it was five years ago, and i did pay for it, ran me about 4500.00, so i never did get to lift my truck and do the tires, but anyway...back to the question at hand:rasta:

Just cut the rocker as high as you can. Prolly level with the current rocker weld in a 2x4 attatch to frame via weld done. Was that so hard?

why don't you get a set of these to match your STOCK truck:grinpimp: they even come with mud flaps so you won't get the truck all muddy like your second pic
