hey, I found this image in an old post. what is the red X dimension ?

is the one line just going to the center of the knuckles steering arm or are the numbers just purposeful for drilling the holes and the exact location isn't that big a deal. just be consistent on both sides ??

The X should be easy to get off a Chev knuckle that already has the holes in it.

Depends on the style of arm used, the width of the arm, and where you want it to sit on top of the knuckle in order to clear the backing plate and the ball joint.

These dimensions were pulled off of a Chevy factory drilled D44 knuckle.
