Anyone go to the free Grand Opening? Kinda expected to hear something by now. No news using the ol' Search button either...

I wasn't able to make it but Lee told me he had a blast down there with Steve and Weaver. The single diamond was definatly deserving a double D in his opinion.

Thanks Cord...haven't talked to anyone that went.

Morpheus: Thanks for the links, but I saw the sneak peek/private tour stuff.....Some folks talked about going out for the opening; I was hoping for a report on the wheeling...

It was an interesting place to visit ... mainly rich brown soil watershed ridges and/with boulder strewn outcroppings.
It is largely undeveloped so far but there is plenty of easy to very difficult terrain...

Spent most of the day helping Rock Garden Prez., Steve George, host a group on Nebraska flatlanders who seemed to enjoy gettng stuck between rocks and hard places ... :flipoff2:

I have not wheeled it yet, but Bob and I will be going shortly. We have scheduled an event there, Date: May 16-18 2003.

It will be a North American Regional Rock Crawl Association event, 3 classes of vehicles and sanctioned by RCAA.
