but I have a stock 77 cj7 304 3spd
My budget is around 1500 for lift and tires,
want atleast 4in and 33 and want to keep it
sua and no I am not getting the re 1200 lift.

I dont need alot of articulation or care about the ride
looking at one of the cheaper lifts pro comp, rough country etc.

I will be using the jeep for mostly trail rides, mud and a some small
hill climbs. The jeep will be a long term project, later I will get gears,
lockers etc. etc.

i think the best question is were are you located, because if you live in Cali then you could find all this stuff used and very cheap on pirate or craigslist, but if you're in middle of nowhere georgia then everything is problaly gonna need to be bought online and shipped.

for rims and decent tires with limited success, mostly just looking for advice on 4in sua lift kits that work well, also tires in the 33in size that wont be to hard on my stock axles. Donald Elam

Read about some ome wrangler spring conversion with a 3in lift,
anyone have exp. with these?
Around 850 shipped I could do that and try and find used rims
and tires, the heavy duty budget system. What else will I need to
complete this system, anything I should know before I get this one.

Not trying to be a stinker, but ride has to matter some.

I have twin CJ-5's. One is an 81 and one is an 82. The 82 has an old school 3" rancho lift with minimal leaves etc. my guess is the lift was made in the late 80's. My 81 has SPOA with Wrangler leaf springs.

The 82 is quite rough compared to the 81. I live on a rough rural road and the comparison to me is worth a couple of bucks for a decent set of springs.

FWIW I have a set of 6-7 year old 4" springs that are SUA and my 81 rode great with them on it before I switched to SPOA etc. It was literally night and day compared to the other Jeep and I was driving them back to back.

I am sharing TMI again.

Summary: I would rather spend $550 and get decent quality, medium priced springs than get some for $375 and be real sorry....

Yes ride matters not enough to make the rubicon express lift doable, but enough
to make me look into the yj conversion from OME.
I found a set of 4in lift helllscreek lift springs on craigslist for cheap but I am a little unsure about buying used springs.
Never mind there are just rough country springs.
Have any advice for tsl sx on a cj 35's found a used set was wondering how they work in mud and hill climbing etc.
