Can anybody tell me anything about dealing with Rhode Island Off-Road ? Are they an OK place or someone to run away from.

Thanks

No personal experience, but from what I've seen on the Mog Mailing List, Chris Elliott (owner) is good to deal with. Go to the Mog ML arhcive search and do a few searches on his name like this:

I know that recently he has been quite busy, but he is a great guy. Always seems to go out of his way to help out.

but I am biased, as he is my friend, and we are in the same club.

Keith -

Chris E conducts his business quite well. I haven't heard any complaints and have done business both ways with him. I sold him some Mog parts (I import a limited number of trucks and parts) and if you go to my site about my unimog you will see I bought my rare 3 Door Doka from him. We both spotted it through contacts in Europe. He outbid me however after much whining and moaning on my part he resold it to me. He even delivered it to my house with no problems. Heck pretty nice when you go out of your way for a "competitor" of sorts.

Enjoy
