FOUR WHEEL DRIVE ASSOCIATION TO DISPLAY
VEHICLES AND EXHIBITS AT SUNRISE MALL
Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6
SACRAMENTO (Oct. 1, 2002) - The California Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs will feature rock crawling vehicles, stock four-wheel drive vehicles and back country exhibits during its upcoming show at the Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights on Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6.
According to Jack Raudy, association executive director, the shopping mall show is an opportunity for members to show off their four-wheel drive vehicles and provide the non off-highway vehicle audience with an understanding of public land stewardship and recreational opportunities throughout northern California.
In addition to association vehicles and displays, Raudy said the show will also include participation from the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Disabled Sports USA, 4X4 Safety Clinic and El Dorado County and Placer County Search and Rescue.
Raudy said there would be many vehicles and displays inside the Sunrise Mall and more than 100 four-wheel drive vehicles and association club exhibits in the parking lot facing Sunrise Blvd.
The Sunrise Mall, located at 6041 Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights, will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
