i just got my yj tore down to the frame and gonna rebuild it up with all new bolts and some few custom touches. im on a strict budget of 5000 and unlimited time due to disability from iraq. i been working on gathering some junkyard parts and rebuilding them.

gathered these parts and rebuilt

dana 60/44
sb350 w/th350 np231 for now till i can find a better t-case

here is what i got planned

full cage
custom dash
all new wiring
fuel cell
shock hoops and new shocks
build flat skid plate
paint body

as for direction im wanting to stay leaf sprung and build this in stages from weekend wheeler to dedicated trail toy. after reading for what seems months drove me crazy lol. i finally got my jeep plan set just needing some input from you all.

any tips or modification to the frame you might suggest?

a few pics of what i got going.

Why not do a stretch while you have it stripped?
Maybe use some xj springs?
