getting ready to build my cage this weekend and looking for ideas of cages with the spare tire mounted on the back or at a angle in the back on the cage. Im thinking a 6 point cage thats ties into the frame would be my best bet. Any pictures or drawings would be great. thanxz guys

2 inch hose clamps work good to hold your sun visors to your front hoop.

Okay, the tan & black Mad Max refugee Jeep with the baggy pants-ed butch chick with a nice rack.......in a word.....:rainbow:

I don't see one bent tube on that junk, looks like someone just bought a chop saw and a store bought front hoop & spreaders and started adding crap all over it, half of that stuff looks like square tube, and those axles sure look little.

Yes, now that's a rack. The rest of you guys, drop the skateboarder magazines, go outside and find out what women really look like;)

That Heep is from Toronto. The thing was build at Jeep Thrills. The guy dosen't wheel the thing. In that pix it has D44 with 44" Boggers:rolleyes: I believe the guys name is Shannon. He designed the cage and paid Jeep Thrills to do it, and the skulls are REAL:eek: . I think that they are from a couple of 7 year olds.

Here is his site: Link (http://www.bmeworld.com/shannon/car/index.html)

Yeah, but thats a lot a bit larger!

And I agree about that bar on the yellow one. I wouldn't be able to get out when intoxicated! Does the outside spreader bar go to the windshield?

Hey Whizzzzzz, does that fit under the top? Only reason I havent mounted my spare is its hard put a 38 on the cage and still be able to run a top :(

In case Whizz hasn't answered yet, the chick (girl) that own's the Jeep runs a softtop, and yes, the cage fits under neath. But not the spare tire. It sticks up above the top cross bars of the cage.

I think it is quite a bit of the position of her arm causing that.

Yes I know they are usually not exactly the same size.

I got no complaints, bet she doesn't get any either. :D

Not sure how this got to be a rack comparison thread, but I'm sure it's my fault for bringing it up, sorry, but you must admit, at the time of my first post in this thread, the burly chick had the nicest rack shown.

As for that freaky Jeep, I'm not sure I want to say anything bad about a Jeep that has human skulls on it.......but I still say it's

Basically, all I see of that pic is this....

i can't see why anyone would want to have a spare tire blocking their rear view. i leave my spare at the tow rig. a spare 42" swamper is just too big to haul around. if a were to cut a tire bad enough that i could not plug it good enough to limp out (i never have) i would just have someone go get it.

Ok, well, what about us that don't run 42's, or don't have a tow rig? My jeep is my daily, on 35's, and Id like to mount my tire to my cage.
