Your correct,, .. The only problem is........this is just a listing according to the American Fastener manufacture, and only of the specs according to ASTM, SAE AND ISO standards. Some silly manufacture can still make a bolt and mark it with,,,oh say, 2 crossed penises and call it a Grade 12.

After a lot of digging, the bottom line is, anybody can make a fastener, call it a Grade 12,, they just can not call it ASTM grade 12.. Stupid or what?

I didn't even post all the info I have on AN fasteners and other exotics.

I posted it just because 99.9% of the time, those fasteners are what we all are going to be usings, and thought the data might be useful. I didn't intend it to be the start or end or any part of any stupid argument, but thought the provocative title might get more people to read and learn :confused:
