: the Sami Gets 34-9.5s

Well my buddy and I have been working on his Sami some more. We will be adding wrangler springs and he just ordered the t-case kit. He just bought some tires and I thought it looked so good I had to post up.

here is the posser not flexing so good shot. He wasnt trying to flex and when he got out it slid down the stump.

Looks good, let me know what you guys had to do to clear that rubber? and also .. what kind of stuff do you all play in up there in Sea-Tac? mostly mud? is he running stocker axles? Lockers?

Well the tires do rub front and rear right now with stock spoa and 2in add a leaves. They are as stiff as a board too. We will be going to a wrangler stock spring soa and will be moving the front axle forward 3in. and doing a rev. shackle. We will move the rear back as far as possible as well. He is running stock axles with stock gears and just ordered a 4.16 t-case kit. I am trying to get him to go toy pkup axles and 5.29s. He is locked front and rear now and wont wheel it until he gets the t-case gears in.He got the ties and wheels for 200.00 so to date with the t-case kit he is into that rig 2700.00 counting buying it. It is as capable as my 74 cj 5 with d44s f/r locked f/r flexing great on 36 12. tsls.

Thanks for all the response. Jr is actually wanting us to build a tube front clip. I think it will be fun. What is the wb of a stock Sami? We want it to have about a 90in wb when done with the suspension.

stock W/B in a zuki is 79.9" or 80" to make it eaiser for ya...........:D
so move the front end 3" foward(exactly like mine) and you will need the rear to go back 7"....... hmmmm i mved my rear back about 2.5".... i think you can go 5" or something around there before it hits your as tank......
i have yjs in the rear and cj fronts up front.....

i'm also thinking of going with a tubed front clip, i got some 1.75" tubing, but i think i want to get it inspected and on the road before i try to do any more major body work to it, around here they don't like rigs that look like that....... but i'm going to try:flipoff2:
