Have a 350sbc yj with a dana 60 front with high steer and an agr gear. my steering pump is junk, it leaks and needs rpm to turn my 35 14.5 boggers. my question is:
get the agr super pump or whatever its called or go agr hyd assist?
Also i beat the crap out of my rig so if thr is a better kit mention it please.

I have no experience with agr, but my PSC hydro assist kit is great. I guess it depends on how you use your rig. For rocks I would definitely go with a hydro assist, especially if you are ever going to go with a bigger tire. There are several out there that make assist kits. AGR, PSC, Howe, and Redneck Ram are the ones I know of.

Psc has great customer service. Talk to them before ordering and let them know what you have and what you want and they can usually get it done. I have had hydro on to different rigs, one was touchy the other was so sweet you didn't know you had it until you needed it.

do you know the ratios you had?
what would be a good ratio for street trail? was thinking 2.5-3

Stock 88 YJ box with 1ton chevy pump and 36's and she steers just fine. And all i ever do is play in rocks.

one ton pump?
would the super pump be good enough to turn the 35s?
