I don't understand, I've been trying to locate someone with a three groove harmonic balancer for an 83 2F motor for one hell of a long time. Are they that rare or doesn't anybody ever get rid of them??
I've had posts in the wanted for almost a year. Can anyone point me in a direction so I can get one for less than $250.00.
Thanks.

yes, good condition ones are rare. The 3 grooves tend to crack where the two outer pulleys are riveted on. later 3B's, 2H's, and HZ/HD series have bolt on pulleys which solve this problem. The 2F ones are very expensive new and thus hold a high price in the second hand market. going rate was $150 used last I knew. Vic Bridges (of Hadley aka landcruiserparts / midwest on ebay) sold one to a LCML lister for $65 a few years back. A friend called Vic 1-2 days later and asked for one which jumped to $150- he said supply and demand thing....(see archives for story)
