Well with all the sad news of Ralph dieing this week I got something to cheer me up yesterday.
I was asked by Mike Klensin starting in the 7th spot to be his codriver. Mike was looking for someone who had a good knowing of the race, the area, and is a good codriver.
After our success last year I am very excited to get back into the race.

Is it all sinking in that this is all coming to a head now? I remember last year how the tension built and built then when Tom and Jeff launched off the line that was the peak of my suspense. Once we were on our own in the desert I relaxed and go into the zone.
I am sure you will but don't let the testosterone get to you out there and enjoy the moment. It's a long race.
My wife says don't let your wiener drive, he can ride along but don't let him drive!

It's sinking in. Every time I start thinking about wadding up camo's rig in the whoops, my balls retract so far up in there it looks like I have 3 Adam's apples.

We were doing dam good for 42 miles when we had some issues that could not be fixed well enough in short time to finish the race.
We are already coming up with a game plan for 2011.

Does not look like they will be coming back for this years Easter Safari.
They are putting together an event in Guam and the timing is not good.
Maybe next year??

Well I may start a new thread but bring this one back for now.

2011 LCQ with Mike in the driver seat and me Codriver. I feel very confident we will advance. New Car this year. More to come as we get closer.

The Cruiser will be our Prerunner again this year! We ran the entire course in it last year. I think I like prerunning and doing the homework nearly as much as the race.
I will keep those that are interested updated.
