Anybody use any holsters from theholsterstore.com?
Specifically, I am looking at the Pro Carry IWB.

Really just looking at quality. This will likely be used with an XD9 Sub Compact or Kahr Mk9.
Also, I'm looking at a couple of their OWB holsters to determine quality.
Anyone with first hand experience?

For that price get a FIST and get a much better holster.

I was under the impression that Fist had a LONG wait and backlog. But have heard good things about them though..
Any other thoughts/suggestions

Huh.
The only FIST I've seen personally was one of their sewn-with-thread superthin Kydex holsters. It was crap in the extreme.
No help on holsterstore.com ... But I do have a general rule of thumb for anyone reading: If it lists multiple brands of weapon under "what fits" then DO NOT BUY. If it isn't molded specifically for the gun I want to put in it, I pass.
Sure I may be picky, but I've owned at least 25 holsters for only 6 different guns. One $75 holster really is cheaper than five $30 ones.

I can't agree more.. Hence the reason I'm looking for quality. I have enough Crap in my closet already...

I bought one from them through their ebay auctions. The color was a little different than depicted in the picture but it seems really well built. It's very stiff, has a sturdy clip and has all of the appropriate reliefs and contours for my Taurus Millenium Pro.

FIST has a pretty good turn around. Much better than some makers.

I can't speak for their Kydex, but both of their leather holsters that I have are top notch. Especially for the price.
I'm with you on your rule of thumb too. The only thing that I have to add to that is that lots of Glock models have the exact same dimensions as each other. But I know you already know that.
These are my two for my Glock 36 (19 and 23 too). They do the job and they work really well for me. The OWB is actually for a 19 that's why it has the rail grooves on it.

Okay, those I'd probably buy. But the sewn Kydex things? No way.
And that's why I said multiple *brands* of firearm. Most makers have a 9mm & .40 that are identical in size, and fit the same holster.
But if you're looking at a holster that fits "Glock 21, M&P 45, XD .40, Anakin Skywalker's Lightsaber, an M2 .50 caliber machine gun, and an IMI Baby Desert Eagle" ... You are about to buy a turd. :flipoff2:

I almost spit milk all over my computer when I got to Anakin Skywalkers's Lightsaber...:laughing::laughing:

We have a guy here in central Iowa that makes custom holsters and other leather goods. Best stuff I've seen - most are $40 a piece. I have one of the "pro carry" style in the pants holster for my XD and a pancake style for my 1911. I'm sure he would ship anywhere.
