does anyone know of a heater upgrade for a 76 cj7. The upgrade on the 78 & up will not work.

What are you looking for in an upgrade? I have a 76 CJ7 with a stock heater and it will cook you out in no time. The only thing I don't like about it is hao far down the heater box hangs in the passenger feet area.

My '75 has the same heater assembly as the '76-77. I spent the time to seal all ductwork including the divertor door and this made a huge difference. Now the heated air goes where it's directed instead of through all of the air leaks.

:homer: Druka Durka - didn't read that nor did I realize that was the case. Sorry...

I was looking into using this on mine - just for more room behind the dash\cleaner appearance but I got my heater working pretty darn good now.
