Question for those of you with factory V8 Scout 800. Does the waterpump have the same built in 2" spacer that the Scout 2 pump does? I'd like to move the fan back towards the engine for a little more radiator space, but the scout 2 spacer is part of the pump.

Won't the fan hit the crank pulleys if you move it back any? That's why I have my fans spaced forward as far as they are..

I suppose I *COULD* remove the power-steering pulley from the crank and gain another 1/2"..

Maybe, but I think it's spaced further forward than it needs to be. I'm not planning on running a mechanical fan at the moment. More likely a pair of 10" pushers or 1 push and one pull depending on space. I run a single 12" on my CJ with no mechanical and it works nice because you can shut off the fan for deep water crossing.
