5.9 gears? Wow. Unfortunately I'm going to agree with 1stgenxxx and say they'd break. :(

I just can't see spending $500 dollars on gears. I think i will just deal with the 4.9's i have now, and start saving for a new rear axle.

The reasons the yota's blow up R&P's this deep is because the pinion is very small, with the nissan R&P being subsantially bigger,(almost as large as a dana 60) I believe these will hold up quite a bit better.

I say someone take a picture of a 5.71 yota R&P next to a set of Nissan 5.85 R&P next to a set of Dana 60 5.86 R&P .

not yet that i know of but i'm planning on picking up 2 sets set in the future.

how many teeth are on the yota pinion? these nissan pinions have 7

I'm now trying to track down a source for 5.42's
They exist, they're being run in iceland but i can't find who's making or selling them.
