Is this available to download or is anyone selling a large (poster size) version of this? I think it would be nice to hang up in the garage or for trail planning routes in camp on the lakebed.
sorry if I am dumb and can't find it, I'm getting tired of seaching...

The map will be available to everyone sometime after KOH 2010 and you will be able to print it as big as 48 inches. A few GPS errors have come to my attention and I’m going to recheck ALL of them. (I do not have enough time before the race to do this)
In the mean time you can purchase the 2010 KOH program that includes a map of the area as well as the course.
Stay tuned…

IT'S READY...
Go Here To Download full size EW4C Hammers Map (http://www.extremewheelers4christ.org/map1.html)
I've added some more GPS locations and a couple more trails.
Now you can print it as large as 47x47 and if your so incline sent me one that big.

SOS didn't make the map. :flipoff2: Are there any higher quality versions so the text is readable if you zoom in?

Haven't been to SOS yet to verify location and don't want to give out bad info by mistake. Maybe at Bender Jambo!
Did you download the pdf map file from our site? When I zoom to 50% I can start reading all the text and at 100% I don't need my glasses.

Thats kicks ass, thanks. Before my next trip down there I'll have stop by kinkos and get a big copy made. Might even laminate it so when somebody spills a beer all over it, it will still be worth a damn.

Doug,
What GPS map datum did you use for the coordinates? NAD 27 or WGS 84?

The map is WGS84, same as Google Earth.
When we first started the map we had used a verity of datums by accident, thus the errors, but all is good now.
