I've heard these aren't real great. Is that why such a large rebate is being offered? Or is there something else?

if you are lefthanded, get one. if you are righhanded get an ar. there isnt really anything wrong with them, the factory mags suck. but the gun its self appears to be built like a tank. it is front heavy, heck the piston is bigger then a FALs. i think ill keep mine with some mods. needs ambi mag release and alittle work on the safety.
