There's a good chance I'll be moving to lemoore soon. So, I'm just trying to get the scoop on distances from all the hotspots and where the closest places to go will be.

The sierra trails, Coyote lake, Swamp lake, and Dusy, are all within a couple hours. Hollister is 2 hours, the Con is about 5 hours, and the hammers are 5 hours. Lemoore is inbetween everything but close to nothing.:D

I am in Lemoore/Hanford area. Like they already said, we are close to everything, but not close. Just driving time to get someplace.

Jon speeds, it's 6 hours to the Hammers or Rubicon towing. Are you in the Navy, where you headed?

From Tulare, it takes me 4.5 hours to the con and about the same time to the hammers. I don't stop if I don't have to though.

I'm originally from Tulare/Visalia area... it's a drive to everything

Beach (Pismo) 3.5hrs... Snow (closest) about 2hrs... Desert 4.5 to 5 hours... Rubicon trail is nearly 6...

Now that I live in AZ... more like 45min... :p

Sorry had to throw a little jab in there, you getting stationed at NAS? Watch out for Visalia cops... they get a kick out of fawking with the Navy boys...

If you end up over here, give us a yell. Navy-Jeepster and I are still active, Jon quit and Lemoore-on retired. 93EB did his time and got out years ago.

If it takes you that long to get to all of those places from Tulare/Visalia, you belong in a rest home. :flipoff2:
