It's probably the best 70 series cruiser for offroad use. Because of the wheelbase.

73/74 is the best series not just for wheelbase (mid, 96")

FRP top comes off
windshield folds down
door frames unbolt
has more space behind rear seat than 70 swb
still current production
the best of all worlds, but not seen in US for safety, tarriff, etc reasons

she-ite.

Does it have Toyota 8" front axle?
How strong is that axle? ( which Dana\GM axle does it equal to?)

What lift kit is considered the best for the TLC 73?

thanks ; Edy .

1990+ will have 8" front diff, reverse cut. Birfields are the giant 80 series ones. It depends if the truck you find has coils or leaf springs (current from 1999 have coils up front).
..which engine option are you looking for, gas or diesel

...and I hope you get a BJ/HZJ/FJ/FZJ over a LJ, RJ etc.
