yes the light continues to blink and the front is definetly still locked no matter what drive the transfer case in. i unpluged it and pluged it back in checked the relays and the rear locker is working fine so i know the air pumps are fine.

Ok that is an air locker correct, well shouldnt it disconnect if you take the air off. if it doesnt then something is bound up inside the diff, sounds like you will have to pull the cover and take a look.

If you pull the air hose, it should shut off. Either way, you need to pull the cover off and take a look to see what's going on.

Disconnect the front one. If it still will not disengage then pull the cover and see what you have going on because at that point there is a bind on something.

Put the tcase in 2wd and jack the front up and spin the tires manually and see if you can get it to release. If not follow the other instructions on here.

Probably junk. Pull the axle, ship it to me, I will send you my D30 to replace it. :grinpimp:

i jacked it up last night and took the cover off and there was nothing i could see from there to be keeping it locked. i tried to wedge one tire and spin the other and its still locked. i disconnected both pumps and switched them and the pump that was originally for the front was connected to the rear it still worked fine. so ive come to the conclusion that it has to be something internal within the locker. the bad thing about the whole situation is that i already traded the rubi d44s for a set of 78 ford tons:grinpimp:and ive already picked up the tons. so i have to fix this!!!
