I have been thinking about doing a SAS on my 00 F150. I was wondering what is the smallest amount of lift I could get away with??

Probably about 6" without heavy modification

thanks, that was the answer is was hoping for. Would I be able to do this with the front end kit from farm boy or would it be something that would need to be done custom?

Our 4.5" hanger setup would work with some 2" springs. One of our customers was doing this a few months back, but I never heard about the end result.

bigreen, do you think that one would have ample clearance for flex w/ only 6'' of sas lift with the huge ifs crossmember still in place? or would you recommend reinforcing the frame and cutting it out for minimal lift of 6''?

Cut it and remake it. I really couldnt tell you honestly if it would be ideal for flex; as I have said, I have not heard back on our 6" setup, though we have had many set up at 8.5" with no problems.

Heres 4.5" hangers with 4" springs on 35"s... I am not sure if it has a body lift or not, but i think so. He just finished it this weekend and hasnt taken it for a run yet.
